Full Name: Christopher Chace Crawford
Date of Birth: 18 July 1985, Lubbock, Texas, USA
Height: 6 feet (1.83 m)

Parents: Father Chris is a dermatologist, Mum Dana is a teacher.

Siblings: Chase has a younger sister named Candice, who is studying broadcast journalism and recently won the Miss Missouri USA 2008 pageant!

School: At high school, Chace played football and golf and showed promise as a talented artist. He was also voted 'Best Dressed' his senior year. Before leaving Dallas for university, Chase was a model, but never considered acting, as he was undecided on what path his career would take (although a high school career aptitude test showed he was best suited for a job in performing arts!).

University: Chase studied several majors, including communications, advertising, and business, but it was his mother's advice to pursue acting in his second year that set him on his current path. After making the decision, he was signed immediately by a talent agent who instantly recognised his potential. Chase then started acting classes full-time.

Career: Chase plays the character of Nate Archibald in the hit TV series Gossip Girl. He is soon to be seen in the horror/thriller film She Lives. He has previously appeared in the movies The Covenant and Loaded (with his good friend Jesse Metcalfe). Chace made his film debut in the made for TV movie Long Lost Sun in 2004.

Trivia:
- The hardest part of filming The Covenant was the cold temperatures when shooting at night, Chace says. He also did all his own stunts for the movie, and would love to do more stuntwork in the future.

- Chace would love to fly a plane and get married before he dies. (Not at the same time, we hope!)

- One of his favorite movies is the cult 1987 vampire chiller Lost Boys.

- Chace is super scared of spiders. (isn't everyone?)
