After months and months of eating apples and bananas by the time summer comes we are well and truly ready to mix it up a bit! Not only does summer bring a whole heap of delish fruits that we can snack on all day, but they are also ace for our health!
Check out below how you are being to your bod when you snack on summer fruits…Mangoes:- Contain more than a day's requirement of vitamin C
- Have nearly half a day requirement of vitamin E
- Contain potassium, iron and nicotinic acid.
- Great for skin problems and cancer protection
- Very low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium.
- Good source of dietary fibre and vitamin B6
- Very good source of Vitamin A and Vitamin C.
- Contain enzymes that act as a digestive aid
- An average sized mango can contain up to 40% of your daily fibre requirement.
- Contain B-complex (anti-stress) vitamins
Apricots:- Good source of iron.
- Excellent for most skin and respiratory conditions
- High in vitamin A
- Ripe, fresh apricots are great for those who are at higher risk of getting cancer.

Nectarines and Peaches:- Dried peaches are good for those with fatigue and anaemia (iron deficiency)
