May 08 Girlfriend Out Now!

My name's Tiarna Element (AKS I'm the girl who stole Sah's job this month!).

Phew! This is almost like the first day of high school, with tonnes of awkward conversations. Well, I'll try to make it as comfortable as possible between us by giving you the quick lowdown on me! I love to dance, draw, read (GF of course), talk until my voice box fails on me, and eat pizza while vegging out on the couch watching Ugly Betty... My time spent at Girlfriend was completely amazing, and it made me realise a few things...

More often than not, we get preconceived ideas about what something or someone will look like, or even how an event or situation will play out. Usually it ends up being the exact opposite of what was first expected – am I right?

Girlfriend lived up to some of the expectations I had but all in all the experience was actually far better than any scene that I could come up with in my imagination.

The team was so beautiful (Sarah was nothing like Miranda Priestly BTW), everyone was so talkative and eager to have a chat, and to my amazement the girls managed to answer all the questions I threw at them!

My time at GF entailed a fair bit of talking, going to meetings and giving feedback on numerous occasions... and I LOVED every minute of it!

It was great helping put together your “bible” this month, I hope it lives up to your expectations : )

Correction!
Sometimes the Girlfriend office gets so busy we forget who we are. Well, this month we somehow forgot who one of our favourite poster boys was. Yes, (awkward cringe) we called Todd Lasance, Lincoln on his poster. In an attempt to make up for this, we have added some more pics of Todd, so we can revel in his loveliness. Enjoy!!
