This month I have fallen head over heels in love – with these fabulous summer trends!

Tie-dye: My inner hippie comes out every time I have a pinch of tie-dye on me – whether it’s a cute scarf, a cool bikini top, tank, maxi or skirt. Almost every designer has covered this trend. Who would have thought I would be reliving my Year 8 days where I was OBSESSED with crystals and multi-coloured tie-dye tees?!

Fringing: I can’t shake this look! I have fringed bags, boots, gladiators, dresses, tops and vests – okay, I admit, I’m a sucker for fringing! I don’t know exactly what I’m intrigued by, maybe it’s just the simple swooshing motion it makes as you walk! I love fringing – it makes me happy. I’m just a “fringe dweller” at heart!

Navajo-inspired feathers: Think cute feathered earrings in gorgeous reds and turquoise – they’re so hot! Try necklaces and even headdresses, if you’re game enough. Check out festival style headgear with feather trimmings – perfect for summer!

Gladiators: Will I ever not love this shoe style?! It gets cleverly reinvented every summer. I’m totally loving the tall gladitors that are out at the moment! They’re super-cool and come in a range of colours and styles – fringed, patchwork, and embellished with pyramid studs! Hey, if they’re good enough for MK, they’re good enough for me!

Patchwork: This trend reminds me of loving Holly Hobby as a little one. She was one of my fave dolls with a patchwork brown and cream-coloured floral dress – she was the best and so fashion forward. Go for hippie, long patchwork skirts and embrace your fun-loving ’70s side.

Who am I kidding... Basically, anything remotely boho and hippie and I’m there! Let’s bring on a mix of flares, cool maxis, billowy tops and fringed vests! Peace signs optional. Peace out!
