FBi exploded onto the Sydney music scene in 2003 with a mandate to play 50% Australian music, half of that from Sydney bands. In the six years that have followed, the station has given a voice to the people of Sydney, and a platform to it's many artists, actors, musicians, djs, designers, promoters, producers, film makers, and eccentrics.
In 2009 the station finds itself facing significant financial challenges. The Global Financial Crisis has hit the station hard and FBi needs to raise one million dollars to stay on air.
