THE APEX AUSTRALIAN TEENAGE FASHION AWARDS

It’s the National Final of the Apex Australia Teenage Fashion Awards and you’re invited!

On the Saturday 10th October, 48 of the next generation of Australia’s creative talent will descend on Sydney for the National Final. After a lengthy round of regional and state heats throughout Australia, the winners from each state will compete for the title of ‘Young Designer of The Year’.

The competition is run by Apex Australia, and provides secondary school students throughout Australia with the opportunity to design, manufacture and model their own garments. The young designers are encouraged to showcase their unique creative abilities through four categories: casual day wear, evening wear, fantasy wear and my culture.

Many previous winners of the competition have gone on to make their mark within the Australian Fashion World with the start of both exciting and prosperous career opportunities being a very real outcome from the experience for all students who compete, thus the competition is becoming the “must-see” event in the young fashion industry.

This year’s high energy, colourful and youth orientated awards spectacular will be hosted by Channel 7 Entertainment Reporter and Sunrise heart-throb, James Tobin.

On the night, there will also be celebrity guests and Idol favourite Paulini will be performing! Whether you’re a budding designer, love fashion or are just after a fun night out, the National Final of the Apex Australia Teen Fashions Awards is not to be missed!
