In a rare show of punk-style attitude, Justin Timberlake has labelled celebrity awards as "bulls**t", comparing the Grammy Awards to McDonalds!
The star - who recently won two Grammys and a BRIT award - confessed awards no longer make him happy nor does he take them seriously.
JT told Britain's GQ magazine: "I used to care about those awards and trophies - maybe when I was younger. Come on, it's all a load of bulls**t, right?"
JT leapt to fame as the leader of pop band 'N Sync before going on to establish himself as one of the world's biggest solo artists, working with some of music's hottest producers like Timbaland and Pharrell Williams.
However in a recent interview JT fired a shot at the music industry, basically comparing the Grammy Awards to the fast-food chain McDonalds.
In the interview he revealed regrets about performing at this year's Grammy Awards because of what the awards ceremony represents.
He said: "I view the Grammys the same way I as I see my deal with McDonald's. I regret the McDonald's deal. I don't regret doing the Grammys entirely, but I wish I hadn't put so much of myself into it.
"It's kind of interesting. Just like the McDonald's deal, whose market share went up 25 per cent when I walked into those offices and changed their image. When I did the Grammys, the viewing figures went up by 25 per cent. Funny, isn't it?"
