But when Izzy discovers double-dutch, he must choose between pursuing his father's boxing dream or following his own heart by skipping double-dutch with the girls, including his secret crush; girl-next-door Mary Thomas.

Mary Thomas

Mary Thomas lives for double-dutch jumping! She's the sassy perfectionist leader of the Joy Jumpers, a jump rope team struggling to make it to the Double-Dutch Championships. When her team-mate pulls out of the competition to join another team, Mary is forced to replace her with Izzy. Soon Mary discovers Izzy is a natural at double-dutch, and may be just what her team needs to win the Championships.

Shauna Lewis

Shauna is Mary's Joy Jumpers team-mate and best gal-pal. Cute and popular, Shauna loves to double-dutch more than anything - and will do whatever it takes to win - even is that means enlisting the help of Izzy Daniels!

Kenith and Karen Daniels

Izzy has a close family that he loves heaps! His dad Kennith is fun and loving but a very bad cook! He has coached Izzy in boxing for years and wants more than anything for Izzy to be the Golden Gloves Champ. Little sis Karin is a precocious eight year old and loves to watch Mary and the girls double-dutch - she just never thought she'd see the day her brother would be skipping rope too!
