If you like mini-games and you don't own a Wii, then there's something seriously wrong with you. Nintendo's new console is home to about 50 million mini-game collections and Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree is the latest one... and it's just as much fun as you would expect!

Unlike Mario Party, Wario Ware or any of the other Wiimote-waving party games out there, Wii Degree puts you through a series of challenges aimed at increasing the size of your brain. These vary from matching shapes and counting creatures to laying train tracks and popping balloons. The more puzzles you solve and the faster you solve them, the bigger your brain and the more bragging rates you have over your mates.

As for mates, you definitely want to get them involved as this games is best experienced in multiplayer mode. Luckily they don't need to live nearby because you can also put your score online to compare against their best efforts. Oh yeah, and if you find your buddies are all a lot brainier than you, then you can go practice all the events individually to earn medals and give you a better chance at bumping up your score.

If someone could figure out to make homework this much fun, we'd give them the Nobel Prize. Until they do, we'll be busy bulking up our brain weight on Wii Degree... at least until the next brain-training game comes along!
