Note: So they told me I needed to get a celebrity to write my blog this month seeing as it's our annual Celebrity Issue and all, but last time I did that Pete Wentz spent a whole page writing about furniture (see: Girlfriend December 2008) and some of you guys wrote me some super mean hate mail about it. For the record, I thought it was rather interesting to read about my third favourite bass player's teddy bear lounge chair (cute!), but maybe not.
So in other news tangentially related to the topic at hand (i.e. celebrities!), I had the opportunity this month to interview one of my favourite famous people for this issue's cover story - Hayden Panettiere. She's very nice and amazing (and loves old guys!), but there was just one question I really wanted to ask her...

Hayden: Wow, thank you! (Laughs.)
Whatever happened to Stripes?
Stripes? You mean the horse?
Yeah, the horse/zebra.
Um, there were about 11 horses playing that role...
NO WAY! I thought HE was one SPECIAL ZEBRA...
Well, there was one we used most often, like when I'm in the scene with him in close-ups and stuff, it's always the same one. I think he's living in South Africa. He's retired and enjoying life now, I think.
And that was it, lifelong dream accomplished! Celebrities are too good to be true.
