GF: Hi Selena! Tell us about your band, The Scene.
Selena: Well, I found my band members at the beginning of the year. They're just extremely talented and very cool guys and I love them 'cause they're like my older brothers.

You mentioned in a recent interview that you were learning how to play guitars and drums. How's that going?
Good! I'm having lots of fun with it. I don't think I'll be doing too much when it comes to playing instruments on stage just because I'm going to be running around a lot of the time, but I am writing and learning to write songs on guitar and piano and everything.

Where do you see yourself musically five years from now?
I love music. I think acting will always be my number one focus, but I feel like music will always be in my life whether it's professionally or not. I would love in the future - like way, way in the future - to put out a Norah Jones, Corinne Bailey Rae type record, coz I love them as musicians. But right now, I'm just thinking about getting this record out, touring it and maybe being able to put another one out for my fans soon. Regardless of whether this is my first and last record, I feel that I'll always have music in my life somehow.

What's your current obsession?
Hmm, my current obsession would be Matt Nathanson. He's just an incredible musician and everyone should check out his records.
